About Halfling Clothing Co
Hello, My name is Tom Miller. I'm the lead designer here at HCC. I'm 21 years old and have managed to work within the Fantasy Lit community for the last 3 years. Halfling Clothing Co is my attempted at doing what I love with those I love being around FOR people just like me.
Halfling Clothing Company is a small Detroit based T-Shirt design company with a love for Fantasy lituriture. Each shirt is Limited Edition and is printed in limited numbers. This means something special to those who purchase them. We'd like to thank our friends and supporters from all around the Tolkien Lit Community and beyond for their support and help in this adventure. Hopefully we can continue to design and print shirts for a long time to come.
About HCC Limited Edition Apparel
HCC Apparel is unique in the sense that a limited number of shirts is printed within a period of time. How it works is fairly simple but different from what you may be familiar with, so we've provided a quick explination.
Each Shirt is part of a collection. These Collections run from the 1st of the month till the 1st of the next. ALL orders taken in that period of time are printed. If a Milestone number of orders is taken in before the 1st of the next month, they will be printed before that date and shipped. If the Milestone is not reached the shirts will be printed on the 1st of the next month. Milestones are dependant on cost of printing on the shirt. The average milestone is between 50 and 100 orders and is listed in the shirts description.
Why do we do this?
It's fairly simple, and is something we hope to change. Printing T-Shirts for a niche community is both risky and "hit or miss". This coupled with the cost of printing means upfront and overhead costs are infared.
By paying for your shirt up front, it allows us to print these shirts without spending our food money to do so. Each purchase recieves a reciept from PayPal and can be refueded at any time according to the EULA set forth by PayPal. We don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable about waiting, so we are as transparent as possible!
